Great for the team to be back at work today AND out the water at the same time ! Also rather nice to have a retired lifeboat as our shooting platform. It’s a lot more stable than a RIB !
We’d been booked to shoot the arrival of an oil platform support vessel arriving at Hythe Marine Park for our client Ambrey Shipyards, but the pilot decided the water was too shallow alongside and heading straight up to Southampton Docks instead !
But we caught up with her eventually, tucking herself in alongside P&O “Britannia” !
I’m delighted to say that my portrait of actor Kenneth Cranham has been selected by Holborn Studios to be part of their 40th Anniversary photographic and film exhibition this June. This image will be exhibited alongside some very iconic names in professional photography from the past 40 years so it’s a big honour. It was shot as pre-publicity for his role in Florian Zellers’ play “The Father”, which takes an emotionally intense look at the world through the eyes of a man experiencing dementia. Cranham won an Olivier Award for this performance.
